GODFREY NWANEKAH.

Godfrey Nwanekah is a student studying Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education at the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) Vanderbijlpark Campus. He already holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and also works in the field of Additive Manufacturing specializing in Idea and prototype development, re-emerging, business analyzing and more. Godfrey is also a Co-founder of a consulting business based in South Africa, Nigeria, and the USA. He is the outgoing Director for Sport and Youth Development NANSSA- National Association of Nigerian in Students South Africa and the current Chairperson of VUT Softball Team.

Godfrey was a Gold medalist at the University Sport South Africa (USSA) Softball Championship (VUT) in 2018 and a silver medalist in Major Men League Gauteng Softball Association (VUT) in 2018. He earned a national team call-up from Nigerian Baseball and Softball Federation/Association in 2019 for Baseball African Olympic Qualifiers. Godfrey is the Co-founder of Vaal High School Softball and also the Co-founder & Chairperson of the KumiteVaal Softball Cancer Awareness Tournament (an annual African International Tournament) for over three years in a row.
