2018 NIGERIAN COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARD OF THE YEAR
DR EZEOGU OZOEMENAM ODUAH AUGUSTINE
Dr Ezeogu Ozoemenam Oduah Augustine is a Medical Doctor. He came to Swaziland in 1993 under Nigeria Technical Aid Corp(TAC) where he has worked as a Medical Doctor in Mbabane Government Hospital. Between 2000 to 2006, Dr Ezeogu worked as the head of the same hospital.
In 2006, he was appointed as the sole commissioner to investigate the ALLEGED TORTURE OF BOMB SUSPECTS in Swaziland, which he successfully completed.
Over the years, Dr. Ezeugo has demonstrated uncommon commitment to the Nigerian cause in Swaziland by making sure that stranded Nigerians in the country are looked after and those who needed to go back home were assisted. He has also extended same support to non-Nigerians in the country providing medical and other advice to people.
Dr. Ezeugo received an award from the Nigerian association in Swaziland in recognition of his service to the Nigerian community. His community has also earned him the title of ‘small ambassador.
“My aim since I came into the country is to prove that there are still many good Nigerians in diaspora”, Dr. Ezeugo affirms.
